Just Because I’m There Doesn’t Mean I’m Not Here

I sometimes post elsewhere (today, I’m at Echelon Explorations, posting about where Loach [in EEL’S REVERENCE] came from), but I still pop in here with a writing prompt and sometimes an aside or two.

For instance, today I want to tell you to always carry earbuds with you. You never know when you might check out a PlayAway from the library, take it somewhere, like to someone who’s in the hospital recovering from pneumonia, and find THERE ARE NO EARBUDS.

Anyway, please enjoy my post at Echelon and here’s a writing prompt for you:

WRITING PROMPT: What would your main character do if the above happened (the PlayAway thing, not the pneumonia. Oh, all right, you can write about the pneumonia if you want to.)?

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Happy blogging. I also carry earplugs. The constant blast of canned music in every place from the grocery store to B&N makes me nuts.
