Friday Recommends – Plotting and Stuff

As you read this, Mom and I are on our way to Muncie to attend Magna cum Murder Mystery Festival. That means I’ve set this post up a day ahead. Since I’ve already had a full day, I’m doing this at nearly 10:30 in the pm. I hope it’s coherent.

This is the run-up to National Novel Writing Month, known to its friends as NaNoWriMo and to its dear friends as NaNo. In honor of that, my first recommendation this week is Adventures in YA and Children’s Publishing. Whether you write for youth or adults, this is a super site. Take a gander at their Plotting Made Easy page. Good stuff.

I would make more recommendations, but my internet connection has decided to go on a slow-down strike tonight. Therefore, allow me to point you toward another blog with a listing of 7 Tiny House Websites. I’m obsessed with tiny houses. Maybe it’s because I’m so crazy about turtles. Yeah, it’s a turtle thing.

We WILL still have Caturday tomorrow, and I’m going now to set up my Sample Sunday post. Bye-ee!

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Use the Plotting Made Easy to sketch out a basic plot.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
