Delicious Boundaries of Morbid Anatomy

Yes, it’s Friday Recommends day, with its bizarre mash-up title and all.

You know MomGoth is all about the food, right? So it’s not surprising that I have three recipes to send you to, so my Sweet Little Baby Angels can drool right along with me. Cookie + Kate is a wonderful site I found through the grace of Pinterest, specifically through this pin for Butternut Squash Linguine and Fried Sage. Yes, fried sage. Yes, the herb. It’s so wonderful, fried till it’s crispy and crunchy. The Kitchn has a wonderful recipe for Zucchini and Carrot Fritters, which I love, and 5 Tips for Better Iced Coffee, which I also love. Yes, there is food that I don’t love. I’m sure there must be. Brains and stuff.

Charlie (my DH) turned me on to this series of lectures, each one quite short, each one quite charming, on the Boundaries of the Knowable, like consciousness and junk like that. So cool!

Finally, in case I haven’t linked to this before, The Morbid Anatomy Museum in Brooklyn. Need I say more? I thought not.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Imagine a story with the title I used for this post.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
