Linux FAILED!

Linux failed? Linux? Failed? I know, right? Bet you never thought you’d hear any such thing from me, Little Miss Linux, did ya?

Well, it’s sad but true, and I have the picture to prove it.

Linux Failed. Photographic Proof.

LinuxSee that plant in the lower right corner? The one that isn’t a tomato plant? That’s a blueberry bush. See the blueberries on it? Yeah, me neither. The old Linux disc was supposed to keep the birds and squirrels away from it, so we could get at least one handful of blueberries, the deer having eaten all the blossoms off the blueberry bushes in the back garden.

It didn’t work.

Alas.

Don’t any wiseacres get in the comments and tell me it would have worked if I’d configured it differently during install, or that I needed to tweak the kernel or any nonsense like that. Next penguin I see walking down the street gets a poke in the nose, fo shizzle.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: A character has a running battle with critters over the contents of his or her garden. Or one particular critter.

    Hi.
We just picked all the green tomatoes (that were left), because deer apparently can get into the yard overnight as if flying by helicopter. But with less noise. We netted one stand of tomatoes, and surrounded the other with yard chairs. The chairs worked better than the netting. I am left to presume that the deer in question only left ANY tomatoes, because it filled up for the night and was done eating. Meh!

    You should try rebooting.

I like the title “Disappointment Garden” a lot (from the tag words. the two are right next to each other). I like the mixed medium-ness of the disc as deer deterrent.

Also wanted to let you know we’re getting new pup sister. See our most recent post!

Sweetie Pie is very exited about meeting a new puppy pal. Her first friend was Mom’s Border Shepherd mix. 🙂
