On the Beach at #TybeeIsland #ThursdayDoors

When I posted about Tybee Island before, I couldn’t find my picture of the dish the three of us shared at The Crab Shack. I have since found it, and here it is.

Crab Shack 4 2I think that’s supposed to feed two people. Oh, lord!

So here we go to the beach.

TybeeDunesTybeeBarTybee View from the BeachOkay, let’s turn around and look at the houses.

TybeeFromBeachLet’s get a li’l closer. Oh, look — it’s a copy of that angel statue in the cemetery in nearby Savannah — the one on the cover of MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL.

TybeeAngelAnd woah! Is that a citrus tree in that front yard?

TybeeOrangeYep, yep, I think it is.

TybeeOrangeCloseAh, well, back to our little shack — the Inlet Breeze — and a door at last.

Ha! I hear you! I believe I could have eaten it all, given time. And an elastic waistband.

Another soothing guided tour of Tybee. Very relaxing vistas of the ocean and the sky above. THanks.

Tybee was pure heaven. I would almost hate to go back, in case the revisit didn’t live up to my memories. 🙂

Nice. Gawd I love a lo country boil…mmm mmm mmm, haven’t had one since June in the panhandle. Don’t even know when I’ll get one next. Hand me a tissue, will ya?
That’s not the statue from the book, but I’ll grant you she has a similar hairdo. If you ever want to be bored, I know a lot about the statue from the book cover. lol

Thanks for the lovely tour Marian. That looked like a delicious seafood platter regardless of portion size 😉

Such lovely food (licking lips) and not a bad little shack either. Great photos.
