Clementine Reporting #Caturday

Hi, it’s Clementine. Sweetie Pie is in the doghouse, so Mom is letting me post. Yay!

Sweetie Pie ran outside on Christmas Eve! She’s never supposed to go outside, but she just blasted right out. The worst thing was, the reason the door was open was …. But I’ll tell it right.

Sweetie Pie’s mom, my Granny, went to the little family Christmas party at my sister #2 Daughter’s (pictures in a minute). Then she came home and took some medicine. Then she got ready to go to Candlelight Service with my mom.

On the way to get into the car, she fell onto her tailbone. OUCH! It shook her up so much, she decided to stay home. So Mom and Mr. Mom were taking Granny back into her house, and THAT’S when Sweetie Pie rocketed out into the night. Right when her mom needed her the most!

Mom had promised to do something at the service, so she went on while Mr. Mom sat with Granny. Granny left her back door open, letting the cold air in and just asking for mice and possums to come make themselves at home, and Sweetie Pie came back in after a while.

She says she was so excited to get out, she didn’t notice her mom was upset. She says she wanted to see if Santa Paws was there yet.

Mom says self-control and attention to others are virtues we all need to practice. So, while she and Granny forgive Sweetie Pie and love her just as much as ever, Mom let me do Caturday this week.

Here are the pictures Mom took for me to share.

The black cat is Albert, but we don’t know the white cat’s name. He didn’t want to play with Albert, anyway.

Where did he go? Wait … What’s this?

That’s a pretty toy. Oh, wait! Look!

There that kitty is!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all the cats in the family. (Including Sweetie Pie!)

And to think, just yesterday, I was singing Sweetie Pie’s praises. Wow, kitty, way to mess that up. One of our cats is famous for sneaking out onto the porch. We always try to locate her before going out. Sometimes, she hides and it drives us crazy.

    We do love them though…right?

Happy New Year to you and yours (including Sweetie Pie).

We have a good boy who keeps wanting to shove his head INSIDE!
I sort of want to drag him in and I sorta don’t. I think Squirrel would have a COW!

    Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I sure hope we get a better one this time.

Bring him in and confine him to one room until you see how everybody takes to him. Maybe Squirrel will LOVE him!

She and the new boy can gang up and tag-team Goober into good behavior!

I think she sprained it. I asked her if she wanted me to put her ass in a sling, but she declined and told me to watch my language. I was just trying to be helpful.
