I Didn’t. I Won’t. #HarryPotter #FlooNetwork #Minecraft #NotEven

High on the list of things I will never do but which fascinate and astound me is this, done by an amazing bunch of people.

Harry Potter in Minecraft.

If you want to, you can download the map FREE. Is that fabulous or what?

Meanwhile, I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies on the subject of a risotto we had the other night.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: What imaginary structure or world would you like someone to build in Minecraft, so you could fly around in it?

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

OK, this one is one degree of separation farther than I can go. I don’t play Minecraft, but I can generally follow you around there. However, I might be the only person on the planet that didn’t read Harry Potter.

Not to be hipster, but I got onto Harry Potter before it was published in America, through being a word geek. I read an article on the Books page of a newspaper about the words and phrases that had to be “translated” from English English into American English. The story sounded interesting, so I bought the first book. Then my grandkids got hooked and I read the whole series so I’d have something to talk to them about. Speaking as a writer, I think Rowling did an absolutely brilliant job.
