Fandomfest 2017 #FridayRecommends

Per Bastet Publications and I are headed to Fandomfest Louisville this weekend. Tipper will hold down the fort on Caturday, as usual, and I’ll schedule a post for #SampleSunday.

Have you ever been to a Fandomfest? I know Joey hasn’t. Not more than once, anyway. A Fandomfest features celebrity meet-ups and paid autographs, cosplay (making and walking around in costumes), panels (this Fandomfest has a literary track), and lots and lots of merch.

That’s where I come in.

Come one, come all, to the Jefferson Mall! You’ll find us set up where Macy’s used to was.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: What current (or just-past) celebrity would you most like to meet?

My wife and I once attended a Star Trek convention, with the hopes of seeing Lt Checkov. That’s as close as I come.
