Lima Mushroom Bowl #Vegetarian

This “bowl” thing is totally bogus, but it makes a change from a plate, I suppose. So we had one.

This one was Jasmine rice, baby lima beans, and Portobello mushrooms cooked in vegan margarine and white wine (mushrooms cooked until the wine reduced). We topped it with mixed Italian cheese shreds. It was delicious. Better than if it had been in a plate? Doubtful. But still delicious.

I might be tempted to pick at the cheese, maybe some rice, but no limas and no portobellos. It does look pretty in the bowl.

Oh, my goodness! You don’t like mushrooms? I have two sons-in-law who don’t like mushrooms. It really cramps my style, ’cause I love my ‘shrooms!

I like some mushrooms but not Portobellos. I tend to like mushrooms when I don’t realize I’m eating them.
