Sometimes I sleep in front of it.

Momma always sleeps in the same place. So I left her some company.

January 6, 2018 at 7:17amHi Tipper, this is MiMi. I live with Dan (the guy from No Facilities) and I have known about fires forever. They have this thing called a wood stove in the room with my scratching post. When there’s a fire going in that thing, I perch in the cradle at the top of my post and bake. I’ve even got mom trained to put my food bowl on the shelf below the cradle. You’d be surprised how easy it is to train your humans. When we need a fire, but don’t have one, I go and sit next to the stove, and if there’s firewood in the room, I sit on it and scratch the logs. Good luck getting them to keep that fire going.

Poppa either wouldn’t pay attention, or he’d chase me away because he’d think I was about to pee. A cat named Katya used to live here who peed on all of Poppa’s stuff, so he thinks I will, too! I think you’re smart and funny. Good job on training your people!

At work we took in a box of old toners and old drums, and our Big Boss Lady will send us snacks for this endeavor. After sending my wish list for office snacks, I asked, “How many drums and toners do we have to take in to get a wood stove?” 🙂 It’s cold in our office. And that’s ME sayin that, so you know, it’s cold.

January 6, 2018 at 6:20pmlmao – you are such a character Tipper. While you’ve been keeping the fireplace company, my cats have been flopping around on the cool tiles of the kitchen coz it was so hot. Much cooler today, thank goodness and they’ve been taking dirt baths to clean up. 🙂
