DSF Rejection by Benjamin J. Sonnek #DealMeIn2018

I dealt myself spades again this week, which means I read another story at Daily Science Fiction. What a lucky choice! Thank you, Deal Me In 2018!

The story on the day I chose to read was:

“The DSF Rejection Ceremony”

by Benjamin J. Sonnek

As a long-time writer with more rejection notices than I care to count, I relished this short piece from start to finish. I also stalked followed Mr. Sonnek to both his blogs: Parenthetical Statements and Lab Rules. The kid is still in college, and he’s already FAF. We may have another Jim C. Hines on our hands, folks.

If YOU need a short story to read, I have free ones here on my Free Reads page. I also have four collections for 99 cents each linked from my Short Stories page. I’ve also just published a collection of extremely goofy stories about that fool, Lonnie, and his best friend, Tiny.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
