Charlie and I stopped by the hardware store so he could look for something hardware-y. I stayed outside because I love hardware stores, and I would slow him down.
And I came across the remnants of what appeared to be a fun time for little ones.
And this thing. I love this tiny house!
Is that roof cockamamie?
Perspective is everything.
The Berry Shed: closed for the season, alas, but displays a plethora of doors and doory things.

November 29, 2018 at 7:55amThis might be my all-time most favorite Thursday doors post. I like the lack of doors. So fun.

November 29, 2018 at 7:58amAs Lao Tzu said in the Dao De Ching, “The door is present by its absence.” Actually, he didn’t–I just made that up. 😀

Many Interesting Variations!

December 1, 2018 at 7:02amThese are downright adorable. Though that air conditioned one is gonna be a tough sell around here in winter.

December 1, 2018 at 9:22amYeah, not so great around here, either. Although a tornado might blow right through it without doing any damage, so there’s that.

December 1, 2018 at 10:08amNice! I love that you found those and love that someone is so brilliant in their display! When I first saw them, I thought of how you had a little playhouse in your yard — that WAS you, yes? I loved stuff like that when I was small, too bad I grew taller, hm? Our girls had the plastic playhouse, not near as much charm, but easier to clean.
Great dooring, Marian!

December 1, 2018 at 10:14amYeah, there are actually two playhouses in our yard: A little one and a big one. I’ll door them again, sometime. 🙂 Yeah, Middle Grandson had a plastic playhouse, and it WAS easy to clean: just hose it down. The renter’s chillen are talking about cleaning the big playhouse when the weather warms up.
