Scofflaw #ThursdayDoors

Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire and Daddy of the Thursday Doors link-up, is on vacay. Last week was apozabe the final Thursday Doors post of the year, but you know me: a dangerous rebel. Fear me! Fear!

ANYWAY, I’m posting about doors, and nobody can stop me! BWA-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaa!

Here’s one on a cuckoo clock at the home of friends and relations.

    The Marx Brothers are hilarious, and I wonder how much of Groucho’s dialog was improvised. “Am I crazy, or were there three beds in here?” “Which question do you want me to answer first?” The guy who played Henderson was Robert Emmett O’Connor, who was in hundreds of movies (many of which were uncredited). I thought he looked familiar…

      For my money, The Stateroom Scene is the funniest scene ever, but this one is priceless if only for the bit where Harpo’s cot is the “door” and his fist is the “doorknob”. But it’s hard to choose a favorite bit. Lucky for me, I don’t have to. 😀
