Church Treats #NotVegan #NotKosher

Since I’m neither vegan nor Jewish, this dish is not a transgression for me. You know best about yourself, but be warned.

The first Sunday of each month is officially Goodies Sunday, although some kind folks bring goodies on other Sundays. I’m scheduled for January and February, and I brought orange juice, cow milk, mixed fruit bowl, and this.

That’s a form of pigs in a blanket.

I cooked the sausages and cooled them. You know they have crescent roll dough without the perforations? Well, they do. So I got some and unrolled it.

Put three sausages, end-to-end, at the edge. Roll them until dough meets dough and cut across the dough to free the roll. Do this until all the dough and/or sausages are used. Then cut between the sausages and cut each rolled sausage into four slices. Bake them according to dough package directions.

This made forty bites. I took none home.

I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies about a vegan and kosher pasta dish that was better than this.
