Jeffersonville Library #ThursdayDoors

One of Per Bastet Publications‘ writers, Jan Alexander, was unable to make a presentation she had scheduled because never mine why it was a good reason. She asked if I could fill in for her and, since I love her memoir, AT HOME ON A HORSE IN THE WOODS, I was delighted to do it.

The presentation was in a large meeting room at the Jeffersonville, Indiana library. About 50 people showed up, most of them regulars at the library’s programs. And guess who was the first person to come in?

MY VERY OWN COUSIN! She didn’t know I was filling in for Jan that day, and I didn’t know she was a regular at the library’s programs. Wasn’t that a happy? If you knew my cousin, you would know how happy that was.

ANYWAY, I did take pictures of doors, and here they are. If you want more doors and better doors, go to the website of the Thursday Doors head librarian, Norm Frampton. Click on the blue link at the end of his post and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about a library. Or send a character to the library.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I`m with Dan on library doors. I also like that cool sculpture over the elevator door; I sure do hope they have it well secured to that wall 😉
