Grandpa’s Dirty Joke #1LinerWeds

If you knew my grandfather, you’d know that the very idea of his telling a dirty joke is funny. I mean, for all I know, he told them all the time among fellers, but he was a perfect gentlemen and never spoke inappropriately to a lady. And all females were ladies, to him.

But we all lived in each other’s pockets, as they say, and never left the living room where we all congregated (Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, and I) without announcing where we were going.

And just let one of us say we were going to take a bath, and Grandpa was guaranteed to say:

    Cute line that sounds exactly like the type of thing my father would have said! Funny, if only because so predictable.

      Naturally, we all said it to him, if HE said HE was going to take a bath. Or, “Is it Saturday already?”
