Peaches Lavender #Dessert #NotAStripper

Our #1 Daughter, who lives next door, brought us some of her zucchini bread, which is better than chocolate cake. I say that as someone who, when I say “cake”, actually mean “chocolate cake”. Because chocolate.

But this post isn’t about the zucchini bread, stellar as it is. It’s about how we gobbled most of it up and had one piece left. Sad.

She also gave us a half-pint of the weirdest, bestest ice cream EV-ver, Kroger’s Private Selection Wildberry Lavender Mascarpone. It’s so good, we’ve been rationing it. Not because we couldn’t buy more, but because it’s so good, it deserves the respect of rationing.

We also had two li’l peaches from the farmers market left.

So this happened.

I’m posting at Fatal Foodies today about a pescatarian feast, mostly vegan, but with a bit of fish on the side.

I’m not a fan of lavender so I would pass on the ice cream but I do make an awesome zucchini cake. In fact this chocolate lovers household prefers my zucchini cake (with cream cheese icing) to chocolate.

I love zucchini bread. So much. So much. And banana bread. And friendship bread. And lemon loaf.

At the Kroger, they have an insane amount of ice cream choices. Sometimes I go in there and buy an embarrassing amount of ice cream, because they have EVERYTHING!

We’re going to JayC today, which is owned by Kroger, and we’ll be looking for some ice cream. JayC is Kroger’s poor country cousin, and doesn’t usually have the insane kind, just the mildly eccentric kind. Still, #1 Daughter found THIS at JayC, so maybe our chances are not so dim.

After reading your article, One question popped out in my mind which is ” Is The Above Ice Cream (Kroger’s Private Selection Wildberry Lavender Mascarpone) Vegan Or Not?”. Actually, I am following a vegan regime for more than 3 years and after seeing the image of this ice cream. I am thinking to buy one. Can you refer any online link of that ice cream to me? Thanks for writing such a passionate article… Keep it up and Kudos…
