Passing It On

Did you know Cherish D’Angelo, who posted here on Monday, is posting today at my Goodreads blog? Did you know I HAVE a Goodreads blog? Well, now you know.

Did you know they’ve upped the ante on the One Lovely Blog Award? You used to pass it on to eight other bloggers; now, it’s fifteen. The last time I was given this award (also by N. R. Williams), I passed it to Carol Preflatish, Sara D, Audrey Lintner, Ann Littlewood, Amanda Borenstadt, Bodie Parkhurst, Mary Montague Sikes and M. T. Logan. So who’s left? Well, in two words, puh lenty.

Many and varied. Highly recommended, every one. And I ran out of slots WAY before I ran out of good blogs!

WRITING PROMPT: Visit these 15 blogs and take the fifth word from each one. Write a story or poem using those words. It’s okay if some are repeats (the, a).

This is a viral award, Karen: It’s just passed along from blogger to blogger. When you receive it, you choose or find lovely blogs and pass it along. The first time it was passed to me, it was with the request that it be passed along to (I think) eight other bloggers. This time, the request was fifteen. So just pick a few (I think eight is more than enough–no sense spreading it too thin!) blogs you think are really good, for one reason or another. Post a picture of the award on your blog and who your picks are to receive it, linking to them in the post. Then visit their sites and leave comments, telling them they’ve won and why you chose them and including a link to your post, the way I did. If you can’t comment, for some reason, see if you can send them an email. 🙂
