I totally used it to generate the basic springboard for PICKLE IN A PEAR TREE, my 2010 NaNoWriMo project. The suggestion about going through the library is a good one, too: The Adult Outreach program at our county library advertised classes for writers (with me as the sucker bait), and a bunch of published writers showed up as well as people who were just thinking about writing. That turned into a critique group.

February 4, 2011 at 2:35pmEee! Tiny houses! When we were house hunting about eight years ago, we found one place that I thought was perfect. As we strolled through and took note of the amenities, I noticed that my husband seemed to be shrinking! Turns out that the place was built just a little… little in all directions. What was just right for my 5′ 4″ self was giving my 6′ 4″ husband claustrophobia.
We didn’t buy it, but I do love tiny houses. 🙂
