#SampleSunday – The French Club Connection

This is the first of the month, so I have a new Hot Flash for you. It’s also the first of July, and I have the cozy mystery I pledged for the Summer Reading Trail 2012. It’s called “The French Club Connection”. I hope you like it. 🙂 [update: story removed for publication]

Today is the last day of Fandom Fest. I’m probably worn to a frazzle and running on fumes. But happy. I’ll bet I’m happy. 🙂

Now I need to get to work on the story I almost have finished for the Race to the Hugo Award, the one I pledged to the Summer Reading Trail for August, the one I pledged to Red Tash‘s winter holiday anthology, and all the novels I’m supposed to be polishing.

Writing! Is! Fun!

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Write a scene with two characters who have the same job, one of whom hates it and one of whom loves it.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Hurray for seeing you at FandomFest! Hurray for the cozy mystery! Which I will be picking up. As soon as my brain recovers from FandomFest.

I’m still working on my Twitter ghost story. Suddenly, I was hearing the ghost’s tweets in the voice of Ben Linus from LOST and now I can’t work on the thing after dark…
