Another year older and deeper in fat.

Guess what DAY it is????

Give up? Well, it’s my BIRTHDAY, that’s what!

I’ve been celebrating for a couple of weeks already, with Mom taking me out for prime rib and Jane taking me out for beer — I mean for lunch — at The Irish Rover.

Jane also gave me a set of KNIVES. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaaaa! A chef’s knife, a santoku knife and a paring knife, to be specific. I’ve been using them, and I haven’t cut any fingers off so far. Not mine, nor anybody else’s.

Now, I think The Happy Birthday Song is the most boring song ever written, even if it is worth a cool 2 mil to the copyright holder, David Sengstack.

I much prefer this song, written by my childhood cowboy hero, Randy Atcher, which he deliberately did NOT copyright and has invited anybody and everybody to use freely.

So happy, happy birthday to me and me and meeeeeeeee!

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I believe I’ll go slice a bit off of something.

    So glad I don’t have to call up and sing the Happy happy birthday song. Randy does it so much better! But….HAPPY BIRTHDAY anyway.
