Winter Hits At Last

Everything was coated with a thin sheathe of ice. Fortunately, it was a thin sheathe this year, not the bough-breaking killer ice of 2009.

    Lots of snow and ice, eh?
    My backyard is criss-crossed with cat tracks. It’s fun seeing where they’ve decided to walk and where they haven’t gone. Speaking of going, they’ve picked a little zone over near the bushes as their -er- latrine. Isn’t that darling!

      We turn our heat down during the night. It’s delicious to climb in under pounds of quilts and flannel sheets, isn’t it?
