Wunderbar is a song, not a sweet. It’s a number in one of my favorite musicals: Kiss Me Kate, a movie of a company putting on a musical version of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it.
Here’s the song I’m talking about. Brush Up Your Shakespeare is another favorite from the movie. Oh, hell, just about ALL the songs are favorites!

Speaking of reminiscing, I just got to figuring in my head, innocent-like, you know. And it just popped in that since this is 2014 (a ridiculous number, no?), then we two must have met each other in (a large number ending in zero) years ago. Can you believe it?

Oh, dear lord, I must have done the math wrong. It can’t be! lol! On the other hand, it does seem realistic that we’ve been friends almost all of our lives. 🙂
