Two and a Half Feet

shoesSo I went shopping for shoes and I found these cuties. Only two problems.

The first problem is that my feet seem to be put together out of two other people’s feet. One person has wide feet, and they gave me the front parts. The other people has skinny feet, and they gave me their heels. So the fronts of my feet are like flippers and the back parts are like acorns.

The second problem is that I misread the box, and these are WIDES. Now, that’s only a problem for the back parts of my feet; the front parts are like, “Finally, you buy shoes that fit!

So I got some of those heel grip things and put them in. I’m hoping they work, because I sure think those shoes are cute.

I would add that they were cheap, too, but you knew that when I told you I bought them.

I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies about a delicious snackie I made recently.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Someone buys something which is not quite what they thought, once they get it home.

Now, now, Jairom, I know plenty of boys who get “buyer’s remorse”, or bring home something that doesn’t suit them as well as they thought it would. 😀 I’m lucky that those little inserts make my shoes fit right. Now they’re comfortable in the front AND in the back. Don’t you ever have to take anything back to the shop because it didn’t fit as well when you got it home? Never? You’re so lucky!!
