Annie’s Go-To Dessert

We had a birthday party for one of the grandsons the other day, and #1 Daughter, Annie, made these. She said they’re her go-to dessert.

Annie’s Go-To Dessert

go-to dessertI was like: WOW! GORGEOUS! DELICIOUS! How do you make those puppies????

She said she buys puff pastry, cuts it into squares, fills the squares with stuff (chocolate or, in this case, cherry pie filling), folds them and bakes them, then squiggles icing on them. Naturally, you could make your own puff pastry and/or fillings, if you had the time and the abilities. And, of course, the ingredients.

She was upset because the filling came out of these, but I thought it made them pretty. And, as Grandpa used to say, “It don’t hurt the eatin’ of it.”

    Dessert?
I think Callile puts it in a chalice.
