Pi Day, Dessert #food

Yesterday, I posted on Fatal Foodies about my veg pie for Pi Day. Today, I’m posting here about the cherry pie I made for dessert.

Pi Day Dessert

dessert for Pi DayUnderstand, I was making do with what I had available at Mom’s.

Cherry Pie With Promises

Make or buy a graham cracker crust (I made mine because I had graham crackers in the house). Bake as instructed in recipe or on package. Heat pie filling in microwave or on stove and put it into the crust. Unwrap as many Dove Promises as you like and arrange them on top of the warm pie filling. Toast the almonds until golden and fragrant and sprinkle them on top.

SO GOOD!

Charlie loved this. It’s okay at room temperature or even cold, but I liked it best warm, with the chocolate all melty.
