Ivor DePere Is Inspired @AprilA2Z

Ivor is a relatively minor character in SIDESHOW IN THE CENTER RING, but I was surprised, in searching his name in the book, how often he appeared and spoke. So:

~*~

Hello! I’m so pleased to meet you! Now, you just sit right down — yes, right there, where you can see this wall where I’ve hung the work I want to show you.

Would you like a drink? Hannah, you’re closest to the bar, would you mind, dear?

Don’t you just love her outfit? An original Jackie Eastman, of course.

Well? What do you think? They were inspired by our recent trip to Marner, of course.

You’re speechless, aren’t you? Everyone is, at first. Hannah, Marcus, they’re speechless! Oh, I just have to hug myself! No, don’t get up yet; just sit there and let it sink into your pores.

Done with that drink already? Well, aren’t you just a little fishie? I’ll get you another.

Oh, and then press this screen and read Infinite Free Time to learn about some music you might not know, and find out why you might want to know about it.

merit badgeIvor, Hannah, Marcus, and the rest appear in SIDESHOW IN THE CENTER RING, a science fiction comedy of bad manners. It’s available through Indiebound and on Amazon in print and electronic versions.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: A character is faced with a piece of creativity that’s truly appalling, in the presence of its proud creator.

Hi Marian. A science fiction comedy of bad manners? Now that’s unique. I’ve never heard of that before.

Stopping in from A to Z and thanks for the continued participation!

Hi, Stephen! Yes, SIDESHOW IN THE CENTER RING is about an insult-humor comedy star from the wrong side of the tracks who has the unworthy goal of becoming a top member of an exclusive social group. One of her obstacles is a best friend who insists our heroine is a better person than that.
