So this is a blog. Not much to it. A place to say whatever you want to say, eh? Every place is a place to say whatever I want to say.
Why are you making that face? If you don’t want to see me scratch there, don’t look.
I’m a fisherman. I live alone by the inland sea, and alone is how I want to live. I have a servant now and then — some pitiful specimen, down on their luck or on the run from somebody or something. Not that I have pity on them, mind you. I have a certain amount of magic, and sometimes, if the specimen is interesting enough, I’ll tempt it to corruption with a touch of magic; offer to teach it invisibility or shapeshifting or something. Nothing wholesome ever comes of an ability like that.
Hardly ever, anyway.
So sometimes it does. Shut up. I’m done.
Go somewhere else now. This is April A-to-Z, whatever that is, so go … oh … go read The Triumphant Weed; that’s a title I like.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Create a character who enjoys living alone. Show — don’t explain — why. Then add another character.

April 26, 2015 at 12:53pmI think you must live in a lighthouse.
Marian Allen
April 26, 2015 at 6:10pmWhy is that, Pam?
Pammy Pam
April 27, 2015 at 10:47ambecause i envision the lonely fisherman by the sea with the lighthouse to keep him company and occasionally tolerating a visitor. Based on all the lighthouse books i’ve read they are solitary creatures. And i’m an expert because I read 1 book.

April 27, 2015 at 1:17pmMakes sense, Pam, but a lighthouse is far too helpful for Tartarus to be part of. He does live by the sea, and he does occasionally tolerate a visitor — and “tolerate” is the word. Possibly modified by “barely”. lol
