Yeah, okay, so I wandered off from my house in Minecraft and okay I swam a little OKAY I SWAM A LOT and I not only lost my second house I lost my whole entire ISLAND.
But that’s okay, because I found another island that’s even better. This island, although it does have many deep holes into which I fall with distressing regularity, also has sheep, pigs, cows, and ducks. Haven’t seen any chickens yet.
I found some redstone and some bluestone, lots of coal and iron, but no diamonds yet. Give me time.
ANYWAY, I had to build a new house. I built this one on top of a hill, so it’ll be easier to see if I get lost. Sure enough, I GOT LOST, but I found my house again.
Here it is from the outside.

Two stories, a balcony, and an observation deck on the roof, currently under construction.

Two kinds of wood. You can’t buy that kind of detail in a shop. I’ll put my bed in the bedroom on the other side of that wall.
Here’s a view from the observation deck.

Meanwhile, I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies about a green bean, mushroom, and Jasmine rice stir-fry. Come over and drool read about it.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: A character has to rebuild something they lost.

August 4, 2015 at 8:23amYes, Dan, I love the ducks! I love them most of all because you don’t have to kill them for survival supplies. You just follow them around until they lay eggs. They walk up to you and look you in the eye, flap their wings, and walk on. I LOVE THE DUCKS!

August 4, 2015 at 8:25amCould be, could be. I’m crazy about the game. Surely I’ll burn out on it soon, although there’s SO MUCH to it, even without the monsters! lol

August 4, 2015 at 8:21amMan, the only games I ever got to play were a couple of Ellis’ X-Men fighting games. I chose Gambit, of course. And pretty soon, I side-kicked him right off the path and into the abyss! Poor Gambit. I hear he’s getting a movie of his own! With Tatum Channing! (I hope he grows some hair.)

You can download Minecraft Pocket Edition onto your tablet, like I did. The Android edition (mine) is relatively lame, I think, compared to the iPad edition, you could have EVEN MORE FUN than I am!
