Still Mad But Willing To Make Up #Caturday

Note from MA: Since this is the first of the month, I have a new Hot Flash on the Hot Flashes page.

MunchyFaceSmHi. I’m Munchkin.

Yes, I’m still mad at MA. Just when I was getting over it, she gave me a baff. Then she took me back to the vet, and now she’s forcing me to open my mouf so she can put nasty medicine too far back for me to spit it out.

I tried to scratch her today, but she cut my claws, so I couldn’t! She’s so mean!

She talks so sweet to me, though, and pets me even when I try to scratch her, and gives me such good food, it’s hard to stay mad. Amidala says MA is just trying to make me get well. That’s easy for her to say — she isn’t having nasty medicine stuck down her froat!

MA still hasn’t figured out how to join Athena and Marie’s Caturday Art Blog Hop, but she likes the idea so much she made an artistic picture of me from happier days, when I came upstairs and kept her company. I don’t think the title is one little bit funny.

I was sweet, before I was a brat.

I’ll be sweet later. I’m working on a grudge.

My boy Blackjack had a lot of trouble with the new girl, Chiquita. Well, because she was mean to him. Let’s just say, she was a clever cat, and she figured out she could, so she did. She figured out she could sit in the middle of the throughway upstairs and block his access to the sandbox. So she did. Then she figured out she could bully him. So she did.

I will interject right now that BJ was three times Chiquita’s size. HE WAS SO HUUUUGE!!

She spanked him. He had a bleeding retreat wound on his tail.

THEN>>> Yeah, she WENT TOO FAR!!

I was in the tub, lounging around. BJ was walking back and forth along the edge, because that’s what he did. Chiquita was lounging on the floor right where I could’ve stepped out and tripped over her. Then it happened. She looked up. She saw BJ’s big feet going back and forth above her. She reached up and gave one a little shove. BAM! BJ fell into the bath. He was astonished. I got out of the way. Fast.

And Chiquita had this look on her very expressive face.
Uh oh, I think I’ve gone TOO FAR.

And she had. BJ finally got a grudge and held it. Boy, did he hold it. You haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen a cat go flying across the room because the other cat gave her a roundhouse paw swipe. Chiquita got to remembering she liked cozying up to the big guy’s furry bod. Now she had to wait until he was passed out before she could sneak up and settle down against him.

And there’s a not-flash not-fiction for the first of the month.

GREAT story! Poor Chiquita — to suffer forever for one little dunking. Still, enough is enough.
