Amidala speaking.
Yes, MaMA had her birthday, and guess what she got? These!Aren’t they beautiful? Two cat beds and two cat toys (both toys are MINE, by the way) and a bag of catnip.
There was only one drawback: She wouldn’t let us use the new beds until she had given us — as Munchkin calls them — baffs.
It was worth it, though!

October 3, 2015 at 10:13amAmidala was 15 and Munchkin was at least that old when I adopted them, so I’m very aware that the day will come sooner than I like when I have to make some big decisions. So far, he’s beating hyperthyroidism, and he’s a game little guy, so I’m hopeful. I’m not going to make him suffer just so I won’t feel guilty, but I’m not going to pull the plug on him, either. 🙂

October 3, 2015 at 9:39amDo you think it’s arthritis in his hips?
Poor old man.
Bet he loves his new bed, though.
Best, Munchie!
My boy Blackjack never thought anything was his. Even the toy cat I bought for him, he treated as a rival and beat him up. His best toys were second hand cat toys etc. He knew those belonged to cat.

October 3, 2015 at 10:26amIt might be arthritis, or it might be a thrombosis thrown by the thyroid medicine. He seems to be doing a little better today, but that may be wishful thinking.
Oh, Blackjack! 🙂
