BuBuBuButtDrugsYes, it’s real. This is my pharmacy, y’all. It’s a great pharmacy, established in 1952; third-generation family owned, great service, competitive prices, genuinely friendly — a real hometown treasure. Plus: it has a funny name and they decided to make the most of it.

Here’s the door from the inside:

ButtFreeThe “juke box” is actually a radio — tuned to the local channel, of course! The pony ride is FREE. Kids still love pony rides.

I love looking at the display of old stuff above the counter while I wait for my prescription.

ButtOldStuff2Or I might look in the display case.

ButtOldStuffI could get a cherry phosphate or a malted milk at the soda fountain, or a 35-cent cup of coffee.

ButtFountainOr I could get some candy.

ButtCandyI could do my Christmas shopping, gifting all my friends with “I (heart) Butt Drugs” mugs, shirts, hoodies, and bumper stickers.

ButtLoveThere’s always plenty of parking — yes, in the rear.

ButtParkingIf I couldn’t leave the car, there’s a Drive-Up Service. The sign says “Please honk for assistance.”

Hilarious! Thanks for the tour and the jingle.

In Louisville, we have hilarious lawyer ads. Once I was walking through the Radiation wing of a hospital, and I heard Dr. Roentgen being paged. I kid you not. Well, here we have appropriate lawyer names. For ex: Mr. R. Crooks. Mr Rich. A legal partnership made in Heaven (Or Hell; take your pick):

    Rich Crooks, LLC.

I’d hire them in a second. At least it’d be truth in advertising.
