Our #2 Grandson gave me the idea for this house, but the only reason I could build it was because I landed in a world filled with rich mines.

That dark blue is lapis lazuli, baby! And the pale blue? That’s solid diamond!
Inside, you see that I skimped on the floor — not lapis — just solid gold, ho hum.
I got a bunch of emerald, too, but not enough to make a solid block.
In fact, this world was so rich, I kinda got bored with it. Will I ever be bored enough to turn up the difficulty from Peaceful Mode to include monsters? I rather think not. But who can tell?
And, of course, that solid gold floor made me think of this.

March 31, 2016 at 4:00amMy daughter #1 (she works in lending at a credit union) recently bought her siblings a Xbox One because she couldn’t handle the graphics on their old Xbox 360. Lol The first thing my 15-year-old (he’ll be 16 on the 2nd) son did was buy Minecraft for it. He has Minecraft on everything he owns and can’t get enough. He claims the Minecraft on the Xbox One is extra special. I don’t even pretend to know why.

April 11, 2016 at 8:35amI play in Survival mode with the monsters turned off, so I gather AND build. The world I just spawned into is a jungle biome, which is kind of cool, but hard to find rope to make fishing line with, and I love to fish! I spawned UNDERWATER — the first time that’s ever happened to me, so I’m planning how to try to build a house on stilts in the water. It would be fun, if it worked.
