Just in case you don’t have anything to do today, get hooked on this series — Epic Rap Battles of History. OMG, like I needed MORE distraction.
Here’s a taste to get you started.
Pray for me.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Who would your main character face off with in an epic rap battle. Jane, wouldn’t you pay cash money to see Callie vs. Gregori? Gregori vs. Dracula?

March 18, 2016 at 2:12pmThanks, Joey. Fingers crossed. The MDD folks are very responsive and helpful, but there’s only so much they can do. At this point, I just have to geek it out.

March 18, 2016 at 5:45pmI’ll have much better luck, because I know better than to ask for help from Bluehost. I’m hoping it works to just schlep everything over through ftp.

March 19, 2016 at 3:03amYour migration experience has me too scared to even attempt it.
My kids are always talking about Stan Lee and how he’s in so many movies, I can’t keep up. All four of my kids love Spiderman, Captain American, X-men, etc. I can’t get into it. 🙁

March 19, 2016 at 8:18amI was a Silver Surfer and Fantastic Four and Thor fan in college, long before the movies. That’s where I “know” Stan Lee from.
As for my migration experience, it seems to have worked. It looks like I have all my old emails and the site appears to be working fine. I’ll give it a few months to shake down, then probably cancel my hosting with BlueHost and see if I can get a refund for my balance. If I can’t, I’ll just have to eat the expense. But MDD has a great reputation and were, in their words, “flabbergasted” that my files and database wouldn’t simply transfer from Bluehost’s cPanel to theirs. My best advice: do a thorough, complete, and total backup of the whole public_html folder and your mail. Then, if all else fails, you can upload all those files to your new host. I’ll do a Friday Recommends post on the programs that did the job for me.
