A Nickname I Do Not Like #Caturday

Sweetie PieSweetie Pie Turner here.

First, Mom told me that, when MomGoth’s girls were little, they had a dog with a delicate digestion. Whenever the dog … relieved that delicacy, they thought the sound she made in her throat sounded like, “Quirp! Quirp! Quirp!”

Next, I must tell you that, in spite of the delicious anti-hairball medicine MomGoth gives me every morning, I still need to eliminate some of the results of my meticulous grooming. I do it by mouth, and I do it on the rug, because I feel my people need to see results.

And what thanks do I get? MomGoth calls me QuirpBucket! QuirpBucket!

Is that gratutude?

All I want from her is this:

SweetiePie409This, and plenty of attention and, if possible, kitty treats.

It would serve them right if I stopped barfing on the rug entirely, but I couldn’t be that petty.

Goober just gifted me with a quirp last night!
Fortunately he left it on some newspapers!

The worst is when they make the sound, but you can’t find anything…

You nedd to get a small carpet sample from a carpet place.
Catnipize it, and try get the cat to Quirp there.

To teach the minoux to use it, up-chuck it, visit puka-puka land, take the barf train, use the relief station, empty the hairball stomach trap, engage the Borg, whatever you want to call it…. on that sample!

I don’t think I left out any examples or euphemisms out, but if I did, the rest of you can just throw a few out – or UP!

Cats! Like women! Can’t live with, em, can’t live without ’em!

-giggles- Poor Sweetie Pie. I’ve found that about 1/2 an inch of Kat-a-lax applied to a paw for 2 or 3 days works a treat. That thick, caster oil? goop is wonderful. πŸ™‚

She gets anti-hairball medicine every morning, Meeks, and it’s slowed things down a bit, but hasn’t stopped it. She’s due for a vet visit; I’ll ask him about it.

Gah, I tell you, my big boy kitty has the mostest hairballs ever, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. He’s not particularly fluffy, he’s well-brushed, I shove the goo down his throat, he eats hairball formula food, AND his sister cleans him all the time.
Furthermore, he enjoys hurling in front of my closet door the most. Nothin says good morning like stepping in a cold pile of that.

Yes, lord, that will WAKE YOU UP. I think they believe they’re gifting us with hand-made mice, because hand-made is so much nicer than something you go out and just GET somewhere, isn’t it?
