The Game Is Dead. Long Live The Game!

I no can haz Minecraft. They updated it, and the GUI is so small, even when I dial it up as high as it will go, I can’t tap the inventory buttons with my big, grown-up fingers. So I can’t play that anymore. Maybe on a computer or an iPad, but I don’t use those for it; I play games on my tablet.

So I went and found another time-waster recreational activity. It’s called Little Big Farm.

myfarmI have a garden patch, a chicken coop, a bread oven, and a feed mill (not shown). If those chickens look like they’re dead, it’s because you have to feed them ALL THE TIME or they flop on the ground like that. It’s a little bit stressful, actually.

Farming ain’t for sissies.

The easel just by the chickens is a job board. You fill the orders with wheat, eggs, corn, bread, or whatever you have, and the truck takes it away and brings back money.

Not sure how this is gonna go, but you don’t have to deal with zombie invasions and stuff, so I guess it’ll do for a while.

I’m posting at Fatal Foodies today about another one of Charlie’s dishes.

Oh how sad. That’s how I feel about Animal Crossing on the DS. It’s just too small for me to enjoy, even with my glasses on, even in a dark room, I just never could dig it the way I do on my tv. 🙁
I’m glad you found a new time killer. I was half-tempted to start a new game on the Facebook the other day, saw they have a garden game like Farmville. I enjoy those games, like you, building things, organizing things, but I really hate asking 36 people to help me get to the next level.
I had a word game last spring, oh it was glorious, 100% independent. But I reached the end, and I have never felt such game sadness. Oh the sad.

    Hi,
I used to play Sudoku, but it became too routine. First, you go through and set up all the givens, and by then I’m sort of bored.

Like the recipe. Good cooks persevere!

Sudoku never becomes routine when you’re numerically dyslexic. heh

My daughter loves that farming game if it the same one, or it might have been Farmville.
