Sweetie Pie Turner here, MomGoth’s mother’s cat.
If MomGoth doesn’t want me to take selfies, she shouldn’t leave her camera phone lying around where I can get to it. Truth to tell, I don’t think she really minds. She just likes to fuss, but she does it in a funny way, and makes me laugh.
She caught me taking them. I had deleted all the ones I had tried, because they just didn’t come out right. I kept getting closeups of my nose or one ear. This is the last one I took before she came in.
She said, “Nice shot, Emo Cat. You posting that to Instagram or MySpace?”
In fact, the picture was really, really dark, but MomGoth showed me how to lighten it up so you could see my pretty markings.
She helped me take this one and then lighten it up a little. I like it. It catches my profile. I wanted it to be serious, but she said, “Watch the birdie!” and I started to crack up.
She said next time, I should try it facing the light, instead of with the light behind me. That’s good advice. I’ll have to remember that. Because there will be a next time!

November 19, 2016 at 9:13amSometimes, I think it’s the mission of cats to move at the fraction of a second before the shutter is clicked open. The result is a blur where there was just a handsome profile, cute smile or mischievous smirk. Sweetie Pie is a cutie, you guys should keep trying.
