Remodel in #Minecraft

I’m still working on my garden, but I put a porch onto my house-in-the-air and added some planters and daisies for pretty.

The double doors open into my bedroom. Got a li’l bench there, and a table with a green top (a fence post for the base and a square of carpet for the top). The bench is one unit of stairs.

I wanted roses in the pots, but apparently I can’t put tall flowers in flowerpots. Would red poppies be nicer than daisies? I like those little blue orchids in the front of the steps, but I’ve only found the two of them.

In other news, four people voted for Junior’s name, including Joey, who had to vote in the comments. There were two votes for Junior and two votes for Silverlegs. Since Christmas puts me in a whimsical mood, I’m breaking the tie and naming him Silverlegs.

At Fatal Foodies this week, I’m linking back to this very blog as ever was, to a post I did about how to make springerles my way. My was is flavored with lemon peel with just a touch of anise.

Looking good. Poppies might work, at least they will add some color. I’d be more comfortable if I saw some plumbing exiting the house…just sayin’

Yeah, I thought poppies, too. Imma go pick some.

As for the plumbing, that’s another weird thing about Minecraft: you can eat, but you never eliminate. It would add a level of difficulty for the people who play with monsters. Although, with Minecraft, your poop would probably explode or turn into diamonds or something. Don’t talk about this too loudly, or I’ll have to deal with it in the next upgrade.
