The newest new feature is that I updated (I never learn) and now my compass points off into the wilderness instead of to my house, so I can’t ‘splore or I’ll never get home again. Why did I do it? Because they promised me polar bears in the snow biome, that’s why.
ANYWAY, the landscape feature I added is this:
Ignore those blue streaks. It was raining in the game.
What is it, you ask? IT’S BUNNIES! Bunnies in Minecraft are total whores for carrots or dandelions.
This is what I used the labyrinth with a door for. I went into the desert, found some sand bunnies, and lured them into the labyrinth. then I blocked the path behind them while I built the bunny pit and planted some dandelions there. I had to put a ladder against the wall so I could get out but they can’t.
When the pit was ready, I broke the barrier and lured them into the pit with dandelions.
I have since totally ganked some carrots from a village and planted those in their pit. When the crop is ripe, they’ll eat them. I have more carrots planted where they can’t get to them, so I can replenish their garden.
The black and white bunnies are cuter, but I couldn’t find any. Maybe in another world.
I’m posting at Fatal Foodies today about “bowls” — just like any other meal, only all the bits piled on top of each other.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: A character gets not quite the pet they want.

January 10, 2017 at 8:15amI seldom do the bowl thing. I like chicken avocado with black beans and corn, but then I want spice in it (sriracha) and I can really only do that comfortably for lunch, so it’s not often.
I love the bunnies! Such a cute game 🙂

January 10, 2017 at 8:33amI don’t do it all that often, but rice seems to kick in my Put Something Over It gene.
The bunnies kill me with cuteness!

Bunnies are cool.
Like your strategy!

January 10, 2017 at 8:34amThe bunnies freak out whenever I get close to them, unless I’m holding a carrot or a dandelion. I’m thinking of making tunnels for them, since they can’t dig for themselves. Because Minecraft.

January 10, 2017 at 8:55amAw, buuuuuuniiiiiesss. We love bunnies! We take the dog out to pee, and see a bunny, the dog goes back inside – “you can hold it, the bunny needs to eat.”
