Tipper Meets Sweetie Pie #Caturday

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what? Momma brought a mean cat home! She told me I was getting a friend, but I don’t know when.

See, Granny went to live in another house, and Momma said my Aunt Sweetie Pie was coming to our house to be my friend and maybe my sister.

So Momma brought her stuff and, sure enough, it smelled like Momma when she comes home from Granny’s.

And there she was!

Well, the first thing we did was get in an argument.

”She’s my Momma!”

”She’s my MomGoth!”

I’m tired of fighting, though, and I want to be friends and play. Momma says to give Sweetie Pie some time. She says that Sweetie Pie has had a big change, and needs to settle.

I would get hurt feelings and think Momma was taking Sweetie Pie’s side, but she calls Sweetie Pie “Hissy Face” and “Growly Head”. That makes me laugh!

I sure hope my aunt/sister starts taking after her name, because I want to play!

He says he’s tired of being hissy-faced at in his own house. He’s making big talk about calling her bluff. I clipped both their claws, so minimal damage would be done, but I’m hoping to head that off.

I hope it works out. A cat needs allies!

I hope you can also visit your mum with Sweetie Pie Cat, sometimes.
I try to visit Noella once a week with Buddy. Lesley drives us, so he is chauffeur driven. (And like all cats, acts as if it is his right!)

Once we walk in we are nearly mugged by staff and seniors! Look THE CAT! It’s Buddy! an I see? Can I pet? Awwwww! He’s so calm and beautiful!
(I am so proud of him!)
He takes it all in stride, knowing he is doing his admirers a favour!

He even greets the couple of service dogs.

Who knows, Sweetie Pie may be a Star!~

Right now, Mom has a UTI and pneumonia — MAN, am I glad I got her into a facility before those hit! — and Sweetie Pie is still adjusting to a two-cat household, but I expect there’ll be a Royal Progress before too long. 🙂 The nurse just called me and said Mom is inching toward being better. 🙂

Keep an eye on the UTI. And the Lungs. I worry about the crowdiness of the facilities, and their ability to take care of those. Let us hope the cats get along. Give equal love, and they will ….

The facility she’s in isn’t crowdy. They’re taking good care of her. The pneumonia appears to be breaking up. ~whew~
