Last week, I posted doors and stuff from InConJunction fantasy and science fiction convention in Indianapolis. I had so many pictures, I saved the restaurant for this week.
We like to take our own food to events, but we didn’t have a microwave in our room and didn’t know if we would have a fridge, so we just had bagged and canned stuff. We coughed up some heavy change and ate at the hotel restaurant, which, don’t get me wrong, was worth every penny. GREAT food. But pricey.
So wouldn’t you know it, on Sunday somebody told us about this little slice of heaven just across the parking lot, well within walking distance. It’s called Lincoln Square, and there are many locations in Indy and vicinity.
Also GREAT food, very affordable, shareable portions, super service, and attractive decor. Didn’t photograph the food because it’s difficult to use the camera when you’re shoveling the vittles in with both hands. But I snapped some doors, which is really the point, isn’t it? Isn’t it?
Me being me, I think it’s hella funny that Lincoln SQUARE has so many ROUND windows.

July 19, 2018 at 11:57amI like to bring my own food, too, but my husband loves to eat out, so we generally eat out at least one meal. Having fridges and microwaves in many motel/hotel rooms now is a real money-saver. A great grocery store often has good deals on prepared meals as well. Anyhoo…sounds like you had lots of fun and good food, too, so what’s not to like? 🙂

July 20, 2018 at 7:23amThe food was hot, salty, and greasy, just like I was raised eating. I can imagine people saying, “Ugh! That food was so nasty! All greasy, and too much salt! Horrible! It came to the table hot, though, I’ll give them that.” lol

July 20, 2018 at 7:27amSometimes I forget, sometimes the food tastes better than it looks. Usually, it’s because I forget. Eating on the road is a special challenge with one of the Per Bastet partners, because she’s gluten intolerant. Usually, everything on the menu is either breaded and fried or served on bread or both. Sometimes she orders a hamburger without the bun. Even fries are often floured before they’re fried. It is, as you say, a challenge.
