While out “froggin’ around” (as they say up in Corning, New York where Mom lived for 15 years), #4 Daughter, the Amazing Sara Marian, patiently waited while I stopped and snapped pictures of doors. Passersby seemed amused; I wonder if they thought I was some hick from the sticks, gaga over their cosmopolitanism. Come to think of it, they weren’t wrong.
Well, first, we went to Vint (aka Heine Brothers) on Frankfort Avenue, where I used to meet my late pal, Jane.
Then we went to Bardstown Road, where we eventually landed at Wild Ginger, which I posted about last week.
Here are the best of the doors I snapped.
Wonderful day. Delightful doors. And so I end where I began, with the bottom of Sara’s cup of foamy coffee goodness, which says it all.
This post is part of the Thursday Doors link-up hosted by Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his photographs, click on the blue frog button, and enter a world of doors.
A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about ghosts and doors.

August 24, 2018 at 7:36amI love that style of architecture. When I visited England, I was like, Oh, look, they like Storybook Style a lot. Then I realized those were ACTUAL Tudor-era buildings….

August 24, 2018 at 7:46amYou KNOW I had to look it up! It’s bourbon from a fairly new distillery, Boone County Distilling (in Kentucky, of course). http://www.distillerytrail.com/blog/after-100-years-distilled-spirits-once-again-made-by-ghosts/
