The One, the Only #FridayRecommends

Friday RecommendsY’all.

Kristin Chenoweth.

I mean, ’nuff said.

The first time I saw Kristin Chenoweth was on a quirky show Mom and I loved called Pushing Daisies. I thought she was just a super actress until she burst into song.

Then Mom and I picked our jaws up off the floor and went WOAH!!!!

That’s when I went and found out what a powerhouse this lady is. Stage, screen, television, recordings, a book, charity work–she’s astounding, and multiple-award-winning, and rightly so.

Y’all, check out her video of how to make White Trash Cookies. She’s from Oklahoma and don’t care who knows it.

And yet she can do this:

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Who is your main character’s fave-rave celeb? Or one of them, at any rate.

        I blew it!

I reached for what I thought was garlic powder. It was garlic salt. BRUTAL. Ruined.
I also was putting in some sour cream to make something like Noodles Romanoff.
The Sour Cream went BLORP! And Noodles got Romanoffed.
        Sigh.

MUST FIGURE OUT HOW TO SALVAGE IT.

You made noodle tacos? Wasn’t it tacos you were making? How did noodles get into it? Hon, at this point, all you can do is rinse everything off and put it back together.

I was making filing for Tortillas. But this also suite Tacos.
But, I put in too much garlic salt (I thought it was powder) and sour cream.

Well, I will just add more meat and peppers (a green and a yellow), and mix it.

No, there were no noodles. But there is a Noodles Romanoff dish with sour cream, as well as other similar dishes.

But if you recall from Rocky the Flying Squirrel:
Natasha and Noodles Romanoff were the bad buys.
(Yes I often do reference weird old things.)

No spam, just a spoiled hamburger dish to save!

“Natasha and Noodles Romanoff were the bad buys.” Oh, they were not, you weird old thing! I’m a weird old thing myself, and I know that the bad guys were Natasha Fatale and Boris Badinoff! Noodles Romanoff, indeed. ROTFL

Well, I got Natasha Right! Never knew her last name was Fatale. You are sure it was Boris Badinoff?
I always thought it was the Noodles Romanoff Gang. Underdog? Must be from another cartoon!

Well either way, I must save the meat!

Just call be Ivanoff the Hamburger! Well, actually, Pete is better. Pierre and Pete I know.
Ivanoff, I was supposed to meet on a bridge at midnite. He never showed. Maybe Boris got him!
