About That Wolf #1LinerWeds

Finally, I’m back to Wednesday! Why did I back up and post all the posts I would have posted if my web site hadn’t been down so I couldn’t post? Well, because that’s the kind of hairpin I am, that’s why.

ANYWAY, this week’s one-liner is courtesy of Daughters #3 and #4, many years ago.

I was chauffeur, because they had to sit in the back and aggravate each other keep one another company. #4 kept saying, “Mom! Mom! Mom!” I kept saying, “What is it?” and then she would say, “Nothing.” This went on for years several minutes, then #3 gave her a piece of valuable advice we’ve repeated often:

Don’t call a wolf unless you need one!

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow the link.

    Hi Marian,

I’ve been in a hole of a different sort and didn’t notice your absence. I hope the dark place has been aired out and spritzed. Anyway, to the one-liner! I am happy to read that you didn’t view the advice in a parentally frowny way, like, “WHAT. Did. You, Just Say?” LOL

    Cheers,

She didn’t mean it in a bad way. In fact, she meant to support me. I knew that. Besides, what Mama would frown at being referred to as a wolf? lol I hope the hole you’ve been in has been climbed out of and covered over with a safety lid.
