Chickie Helps #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name’s CHICKIE! I’m a big helper girl!

If Poppy goes downstairs, I go downstairs, too. If Poppy goes upstairs, I go up first to make sure it’s safe and wait for him.

I help him ordinize the sheeps and lemons.

Tipper: The sheets and linens.

Dat’s what I said!

Tipper tells me about all the monsters he’s killed.

Tipper: True. I have slain many monsters in noble battle.

And I wanna be just like my big brudder.

Tipper: Naturally.

So I check under the upstairs couch.

No monsters under dere!

But there ARE monsters, and I kill dem all!

Den I go downstairs and warm up Tipper’s perch for him.

And den he comes and takes it over, and I help him watch for outside monsters.

Tipper: Birds and squirrels and Other People’s Cars, mostly.

MONSTERS!

Tipper: Yes, all right, monsters. ~sigh~

We’re berry brave.

Tipper: She means very.… Never mind. We’re berry brave, little one.

We’re a little surprised at how quickly they’ve become friends. Happy, but a little surprised. 🙂

Is she adorable! That one where she’s popping out from under the couch, she reminds me so much of our first kitty, Kismet a/k/a Kittyface.

Kittens – and cats – are so adorable. And in between they’re asleep or lazing about. But at least you can coexist. What fun! And cute pictures. Thanks for sharing.

They say that humans domesticated dogs, but cats domesticated us.

He really is almost a different cat. He never grabs my ankles and bites them anymore (that’s A Good Thing), and he lets her have the window shelf–sometimes. He’s still my sweet, affectionate boy, though, when he isn’t romping with his sister. 🙂
