Pretty Pesty! #Caturday

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what? My little sister, Chickie, is such a goofy pest, even if she IS fun to play with!

If you just look at her, you think, “Oh, what a cute and pretty kitten!”

But Momma says, “Pretty is as pretty does.” And here’s what Chickie does:

I’ll be minding my own business, working hard, and she comes and pests me to play.

So I come and play.

By and by, she winds down and goes to sleep. Now, when I sleep, I’m very elegant, the way a cat ought to be.

But Chickie?

And my favorite:

HAHAHAhahahahaaaaaaaaa!

[Note from Momma:

that is all.]

Me again. Hmmph!

But we don’t playfight alla time.

And then we rest (at last!).

Oh, I ‘most forgot: Today is the first of the month, so Momma wants me to tell you she has a new Hot Flash on her Hot Flashes page, whatever that means.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Who pests you?

Oh my gosh. Tipper is SO elegant. Chickie is SO random. I have this, too. Clara and Cletus. Both in attitude and appearance. The similarities are astounding. Cletus is always pestering Clara to play. It’s like watching my cats at your house!

Tipper enjoys playing for a while, then he leaves her to it. She’s a bundle of energy! Then she takes a nap, then she stretches, then she’s back at it. And “random” is the perfect word for her!

Looks like they are getting adjusted to each other – and each has accepted that the other is here to stay. Do you still have to separate them?

We only have to separate them if we want to sleep, or if we want Chickie to eat. She’d rather play than eat, and the only thing I’ve found that Tipper wants to eat other than his own food is Chickie’s food. He won’t even eat people food, but hers, yes.

Tipper is pleased that you like him best. It’s really important to him. You wouldn’t think a cat would care, but he does.
