Chickie On The Job #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

First, I wented to the vet–or, as Mommie calls her, the V-E-T. I hab all my shots now, and I don’t hab to go back for two monfs. Then I get a special prize called a Big Girl Operation. I can’t hardly wait!! Tipper had a Big Boy Operation a long time ago, but I bet a girl one is better!

I’m a big six pounds now! Look how big I am:

I’m the best helper girl there ever was! Tipper helps some, but not as much as me. I help ebbybody alla time ebbywhere.

I help Tipper look out for badnesses:

And I help my hoomans, too. Like: Mommy and Poppy got a new thing that I think Mommy calls a stobe. It’s kind of magic. She puts stuff on it and it makes good smells, and then she takes stuff off of it and the hoomans eat it and then I help them finish eating it.

But Mommy said two of the burners didn’t work, whatever that means, and the obben didn’t heat right, so they got a new one. Dey had to move the old one out, and I helpeded.

Poppy was putting new doors on the stairs to the top floor, and I helpded him hang dem.

It got cold, and Poppy builded a fing called a Fire that was really really hot! I made sure the screen was on good.

Poppy was very proud of me.

I fink I need a rest.

Tipper: And she helped Momma relocate that bird thing by knocking it over about a million times–worse than I did when I was just a baby. I learned to leave it alone after three or four times, but Chickie just kept on.

NEBBER GIB UP! NEBBER SUMMEMBER!

Tipper: Do you even know what that means?

It means she moved the bird fing.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you ebber gib up?

Life with cats – we do it to ourselves. I think you do a good job of seeing it from their point of view.

Tipper has got it going on! I especially like the helpfulness he showed with the new stove. No doubt he pleased everyone involved in that project.

Tipper stayed out of the way. Chickie was the straw boss on this project. After Tipper growled out the window and hid, letting us know the delivery man was here, it looked like Chickie was the only cat in town. Of course, when Chickie is present, she’s VERY present. Yeah, everybody appreciated that, for sure. heh

I hear the bird thing loud and clear. I usta could have plants, ya know? Had gobs of cats over the years, always had plants. Now, I have Cletus and need more free-standing wall shelves.
I’m glad Chickie helps Tipper look out for badnesses.
    Yay for new stove!

#2 Daughter had the same problem with plants and cats. I told her she needed to get a bunch of cages. She said she could NOT keep her cats in cages. I told her the cages were to put the PLANTS in. For some reason, she just got rid of the plants. I try. Oh, how I try.
