Last post from Magna cum Murder this year. So many doors!
In between panels and meals, T and I took time for a doorscursion. I pretty much got stuck on this one, but … well, let’s just say I’m easily distracted.
This is Christ Church Cathedral, right next to the Columbia Club, where Magna is held. Next year, I’m goin’ in. It looks like an awesome congregation. When I grow up, I’m gonna buy the Columbia Club, turn it into a Writers Retreat, and go to Christ Church Cathedral ALLA TIME.
We also passed this place, and I had to snap some of the pictures on the windows. Salesforce, as you can pretty much tell from the brilliant logo, is a cloud computing company.
Um, Hartford, Indy sees your Lime Bikes and raises you Lime electric scooters.
Oh, yeah–and ELECTRIC CARS. BlueIndy.

November 15, 2018 at 9:03amI’m hopeing the electric scooters don’t show up in Hartford. People are being pretty good about parking the bikes out of the way, but I worry about the scooters being left all over the place. The church doors are fabulous- I think we could all do all church doors every week.

November 16, 2018 at 8:22amThe scooters and the bikes can be real problems, if they aren’t parked properly, for people in wheelchairs, with walkers, and with visual impairment. I hope people who use the scooters and bikes are cognizant of that.

November 15, 2018 at 10:49amI haven’t been to Indy in years. I love that church, the gray stone is pretty and soothing to me. I’ve heard so many tales about those Lime Scooters. I dunno how sustainable they are as a business enterprise, but they are noticeable. I’ll give them that.

November 16, 2018 at 8:26amThe church I “grew up in” was built of gray stone, so it’s very comfortable to me. As Dan and I were saying, it’s to be hoped that the bike/scooter users are considerate of others. It’ll be interesting to see how the whole model plays out. It’s a brilliant idea. If I’m not mistaken, it started in China.

Not too sure those scooters are gonna last very long but they sure are eye-catching.

We’ve been going to a BBQ joint around the corner from the Columbia Club, but I doubt you do BBQ, so maybe we can meet for something else. We’ll work it out. 🙂
