Tipper and the Lump #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what? Chickie has a new game to play with me. She’s always inventing new games!

At first, I was jealous, because Poppa lets her get away with anything. If I did the naughty things Chickie does, I would be in trouble with him. Then I realized that I can play games he would be mad at me for playing as long as I play with her. It’s so fun!

Her latest game is called The Mysterious Lump.

Poppa put a cover on the couch so I wouldn’t get couch threads on my fur. Chickie gets under the cover and scratches the couch and Poppa lets her get away with it. So she wiggles around under the cover and I pretend I don’t know it’s her.

Then I get on the floor and wait for her to come out.

Sometimes I have to wait for a long time!

*sigh*

But she finally comes out, and we run and run and run and then we rest.

It’s good to have a friend to play with and to watch over you while you take a nap.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: What’s your favorite game? Do you get in trouble when you play it?

My cat-friends liked “the toe game”. I would have my legs under a blanket, and every time I moved a foot… pounce!

It is, indeed, good to have a friend, little Tipper. Especially since your options are limited.

Cat lumps are good, as long as someone doesn’t sit on them!

Back in the mists of time, a pretty tortoiseshell called Rosie used to love hiding under the bed covers and scaring me half to death. Good memories. Have fun kids!

Yup. Another one of her favourite tricks was to climb up onto the roof and then cry piteously for me to climb up on the ladder and get her down. This happened at least three or four times until the ex put his foot down and said she was doing it deliberately. Wouldn’t let me get her down. I was most distressed until I turned around and…there she was, on terra firma. Never played that game again, little minx. πŸ™‚

Oh, ho, yes, that’s a good one! Mom’s boy Ozzie liked to play that one with her. LOL

Pardon me if I’ve done tol you, but Catticus loooooves a tent. People never believe me, but he will literally perch and paw at a blanket and ask us to make him a tent. It’s a thing. So I just think it’s precious Chickie does the same.
