MoCon #ThursdayDoors

So last May, the hell-cats managers of Per Bastet Publications went to MoCon in Indianapolis. A fine time was had by all, except the conversational level was shattering. I came home and ordered noise-reducing earplugs for us.

ANYWAY, I thought it was by invitation, but follow the link above and you’ll see anybody can register. I highly recommend it. It’s small, so you can get around and talk to all your fellow attendees, make connections, meet nifty people, eat stellar food, and learn stuff. Take earplugs.

The hearing-impairing venue was The Switchboard, which is gorgeous. It works great as a quiet place (which it’s supposed to be), and only batters you when everybody’s talking at once (which it isn’t designed to facilitate).

I took pictures of doors and lights (for Joey), of course.

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

I like the doors, lights, latches and such, but I love the switchboard. My mom was a switchboard operator for many years.

I didn’t try. I believe it’s frowned upon, and I want to go back next year, so….

Nice shots but no question that switchboard one is the winner in this collection.
